Our Story
New Hatches Stud is based in leafy Buckinghamshire supported by excellent road, train and airport links. The stud is a family run team, mother (Bronny), daughter (Hatty) and son in law (Dain) whom have vast experience in national and international competitions in both show jumping and showing. Dain is not only a renowned remedial farrier but is also a top show horse/pony producer. Both Bronny and Hatty have competed successfully on the National show jumping circuit. A small private stud where quality time and interaction is provided to the broodmares and foals, the stud also benefits from the knowledge garnered from New Hatches Livery, Fitness and Rehabilitation Centre . Due to the types of rehabilitation cases contributed by conformation issues, New Hatches Stud aims to breed quality foals with good conformation. Carefully selecting Stallions known for their rideability, exceptional temperaments and talent, the stud breeds quality sport horses for both the amateur and professional owner/rider for all disciplines. The stud places emphasis on the importance of researching which stallion lines complement the broodmare lines to produce trainable horses with quality movement and conformation, in particular, dressage stallions are carefully selected with preference given to those ridden by ladies. The stud currently has five broodmares: Kannabella, Romanda, Louisanna II, Carnaval Touch of Grace, Distinction (the stud is excited to add this mare for the 2023 season, she has kindly been loaned to the stud by Emily and Izzie Dunn)We currently have various young stock for sale from foals to three year olds. Melvin is our well developed strong colt out of our exceptional broodmare Kannabella by Utamaro D’Ecaussines.
He stands out in a crowd with his unique markings! A short coupled striking athletic colt with correct confirmation and a lovely nature.
Kannabella has produced several phenomenal l foals with her first born, Highland President jumping 1.60m successfully, competing at the top and being a strong member of many teams for Ireland with the Europeans in sight. What will 2024 bring!
Melvin is registered with the Breeders Elite Stud Book.

Arlo was born on the 28th April 2023. He is a cracking strong, correct, elevated colt by Lucky Luck out of our lovely broodmare Louisiana-II (Narla), showing great trainability even from such a young age.
POA
Louisiana-II (Narla) was bought as an unbacked 3 year old and she was produced by my daughter Hatty to showjump. Brought on slowly due to her size Narla had just started her affiliated show jumping career when we decided to put her in foal due to Hatty starting a family.
Narla's Dam Hawii-S is looking promising for the future jumping her first nations cup for the Netherlands with scope and stamina to go on further.
Her sire is the famous Bubalu VDL who has completed in many nations coming with a great proven record of 1.55m.
Narla is another gentle giant and her first foal by Lucky Luck standing at Breen Equestrian is a athletic bay colt with a lovely temperament.
We are pleased to announce Narla is in foal to Aberdeen Z due in May 2024
New Hatches Secret Amor

Hercules is our chestnut colt registered with the British Hanoverian Horse Society recently taking home the highest placed Colt of the day scoring 8's in his grading.
A well developed strong colt by the worlds exciting stallion Secret out of our lovely broodmare Romanda.
Hercules is nicely marked with correct confirmation with a lovely nature living up to his name Hercules.

Romanda (Roma) is our dark bay mare born 2003 registered with Verband Hannoverscher ( Pink papers)
We purchased Roma in 2019 after a years breeding loan whereby she produced her first chestnut filly for us who was crowned Elite Foals Registration Tour Regional Champion in 2019.
Since then Romanda had had several exceptional foals by Fidertanz and in 2023 a handsome colt by Secret (Secret Amor)
Roma has successfully competed through to elementary level and has gained 86 British Dressage points and has also had an eventing career.
Roma is a stunning talented mare with a kind nature.
We are excited to announce Romanda is currently in foal to Bon Courage due in June 2024!
New Hatches Fider Amora

Bambi is our bay filly whos registered with the British Hanoverian Horse Society Stud Book.
She is an exquisite filly by Fidertanz out of our broodmare Romanda carrying the famous Donnerhall Lines.
Bambi was our pin up girl of the class of 2022 she seems to float as she moves along the ground with correct confirmation with a lovely nature and the biggest of eyes.

New HatchesTouch of Fabrice
Luna is a bay filly born in 2020.
She is out of Carnaval Touch of Grace by Fabrice van Overis.
Luna has a lovely temperament and a good head on her shoulders. Luna has been lightly backed which she took in her stride and is showing a good technique over fences both coloured and natural.

Carnaval Touch of Grace (Lil) is a homebred chestnut mare born in 2009 registered with Anglo European Studbook. Lil is by the talented Carnaval Drum out of Tullagan's Pride. She is one of our first home bred mares who was just starting her career as an eventer before she injured herself in a field. Lil is a gentle giant and this follows through to her foals who have all super temperaments with also a huge jump with a heart to match.
